• The ES-VT-SS-OV-65-G is a stainless steel valve identification tag specifically designed to communicate clearly that a valve is in the ‘locked-open’ position during maintenance, shutdown, or LOTO procedures.
• The tag resists corrosion, chemical splash, and UV degradation as it is constructed from stainless steel and finished with a durable green powder coat. This makes it suitable for indoor and outdoor installations alike.
• Bidirectional readability is ensured as both faces of the tag are silk-screen printed with the legend ‘VALVE – LOCKED OPEN’ in bold white lettering. This ensures readability at typical working distances.
• Secure, tool-free attachment to valve handwheels, stems, or adjacent piping is enabled with a rectangular mounting slot at the top of the tag accepts cable ties, stainless steel wire, or polypropylene cord.
