• The Stainless Steel Group Lock Box – 13 – Solid (ES-GLB-SS-13-S) is a fully enclosed, heavy-duty lockout tagout box engineered for use in corrosive, wet, and chemically aggressive industrial environments.
• Unlike the standard ES-GLB-SS variant, which features clear polycarbonate side panels, this solid variant replaces both side panels with robust stainless steel, delivering a completely sealed enclosure with no exposed transparent sections, making it the preferred choice where polycarbonate may degrade due to chemical exposure, UV radiation, or extreme temperatures.
• The box body and its flap are fitted with multiple slots to accommodate the individual padlocks of up to 13 workers simultaneously, making it fully compliant with group lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedural requirements for larger maintenance teams.
• Once lockout keys are secured inside, each team member attaches their personal padlock to the box, ensuring the enclosure cannot be opened until every worker has confirmed the completion of their task and removed their lock – a critical safeguard in preventing accidental re-energisation of hazardous equipment.
• An integrated locking buckle allows a supervisor’s padlock to be fitted for an additional layer of access control.
• The ergonomic stainless steel handle on the top provides safe, comfortable handling when transporting the box between energy isolation points.
